DEMOSTHeNES Speech Composer is a general-purpose multilingual and polyglot software text-to-speech (TtS) system that supports the Greek language. DEMOSTHeNES is appropriate for multimedia applications (spoken encyclopaedias, presentations etc), voice technology applications (e.g., telephony services) and aids for the disabled, while it can be embedded or linked to others providing a spoken output. Moreover, the support of several interfaces like MS-SAPI provides easy linking to other applications...

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Download and extract the demosthenes1_2.exe file and then run the Setup.exe file. Installation will start automatically.
Ρυθμίσεις: Users can set up the application language when it is first launched. Users can write or copy/paste in the editing area of the application window the text that they want to be "spoken". There are three icons above the editing area: the fist starts the audio rendering, the second stops it, and finally the third saves the audio result to a ".wav" format file. Settings on the synthesizer's voice parameters such as pitch, speech rate, and volume are available by the two bars and the drop down menu displayed at the bottom of the application window.
