CLiCk, Speak

The CLiCk, Speak corporate with the web browser Mozilla Firefox. It is designed for people with physical disabilities or low vision who wish to gain a talking browser. After installation there are three buttons on the command line of Mozilla Firefox, which can be replaced by other larger depending on the user's needs. The content of the website in Mozilla Firefox can be called over selecting the Auto Reading Mode, or partially branding the desired lines and selecting the Speak Selection. Supports SAPI5. It supports the languages of the operating system, i.e. the language that you have installed on the operating system for text-to-speech (TTS).

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Download the clickspeak_bundle_v1.6_release.xpi. Open the firefox browser and from the file field click open File and choose this file. Then choose "Install Now" and restart Firefox.
Ρυθμίσεις: The language setting is under the "Control Panel”, selecting sounds, speech and audio device and then speech, or the element 'speech', where you are able to adjust the voice, speed and pitch of the voice.
Another setting is in Firefox on the "Tools" and Click, speakOptions, where you are able to choose the speech engine (SAPI or JAVA), the speed of speech and voice pitch.

The official webpage serves a new version that is compatible with the latest version of FireFox, it is Click, Speak.js 1.6.17. This version is beta, so we did not proceed to an update of the file that is served from the current page.
