Accessibar is a toolbar extension for Firefox which aims at providing various accessibility features for users who could benefit from them. These features primarily focus on the dynamic manipulation of the visual display of the web page (e.g. changing background and foreground colour, enlarging the web content and increasing lines space) in addition to the integration of a text to speech reader which can read out loud the browser's user interface as well as web page content.
Λειτουργικό σύστημα: This application is compatible with any operation system that supports Mozilla Firefox 3.0.
Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: There are two ways installing Accessibar: (a) download the accessibar-0.7.8-fx.xpi file using Mozilla Firefox and the installation will start automatically or (b) after downloading the aforementioned file using another browser, open it using the Mozilla Firefox File menu and then press Install Now. In any case, a Firefox restart is required.
Optional Text to speech reader installation includes: (1) Download and Install the Java Runtime Environment 5.0. (2) Once the JRE 5.0 is properly installed, download InstallAccessibarReader_0_1_0.jar and evoke installer by double clicking or by entering the command: java -jar InstallAccessibarReader_0_1_0.jar from a command prompt.
Ρυθμίσεις: All settings on Accessibar are available through the toolbar extension.
