Braille Music Reader is a tool that allows visually impaired users to read, learn and listen to written music in a multimodal environment. This program is capable of handling Braille music scores as well as talking music documents (text to speech via Jaws). It can open files of BMML format. You can listen to the piece via MIDI. The application helps in learning music archives exploring the notes of a song. It has the ability to associate the notes of the song in several organs thus changing the music. It doesn’t provide the ability to change the notes, i.e. the audio track, but you can remove some elements of the song and save or even print it out to emboss in a Braille printer. You can hear the environment (user actions) through the use of Jaws.

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Unzip the file BrailleMusicReader_0_2_24.zip and run the file BrailleMusicReaderSetup.exe. When the installation asks you your Jaws version select it, (otherwise if you haven’t installed, select manual install) and click OK.
Ρυθμίσεις: On the taskbar at tag File, Import loads tracks contained within it some. On the Play tag opens a window where you can listen to music and from the tag Instruments change the organs that perform the music track (notes). From the tag Speech change the way of hearing to the application environment, minimal hearing of the user's actions to all actions. With the F3 searching for certain notes in the file. From the tag Process, Hide elements remove the supplementary information from the file.
