The DSpeech is an application with the ability to read aloud text (TTS), but also with speech recognition (ASR) integrated. It supports and reads aloud files of types such as TXT, DOC, and (PDF by adding a plug-in). It supports SAPI 4 and SAPI 5. It stores text files to audio formats WAV, MP3, and also saves PDF files to TXT. It speaks text from clipboard. It integrates a vocal recognition system that, through a simple script language, allows you to create interactive dialogues with the user (you must install the additional application). It has the ability to display in its environment the spoken words and then store them in a text file. It can run in command mode (no GUI on execution). It supports multiple languages including: English, Italian, Spanish, French, and German.

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Unzip the file dspeech.zip and run the file DSpeech.exe. If you want to read PDF files download the DSpeech PDF Plug-In.zip. If you also want speech recognition download the SR.zip (36MB).
Ρυθμίσεις: To hear aloud documents: From the taskbar in the tag file, open, or open a URL opens a file. You hear the text pressing the play button at the bottom of the application window. On the right side of the application's window displays the voices that are available and can change to the desired voice. It can also change the desired font and text size. From the options you can select SAPI4, SAPI5, or activate hotkeys, or adjusting audio properties.
For speech recognition: Press the button Start ASR in the lower part of the application’s window and speak into the microphone. It has the ability to record from the microphone by pressing the record button and then play or save in a WAV file.
