Pac (PDF Accessibility Checker) is a program that checks the accessibility in 14 points in PDF file type. It displays a PDF file in order to be accessible to the blind people (display the PDF file in internet browser and read it aloud by a screen reader). It provides information for the properties of a PDF file. It works with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox.

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Unzip the zip file and then run PDF Accessibility Checker 2.0. Requirements are Mozilla Firefox 3 or higher, internet explorer 6 or higher, Adobe 8 or later, and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 or later.

Ρυθμίσεις: On the application environment with preview the PDF file is displayed in the internet browser. To automatically display the application in Windows set: Control Panel, Folder Options, select the PDF file type to open it with the application. For Mozilla Firefox from the taskbar Tools, Application locate the PDF file type and associate it with Adobe in Firefox.

The newest version features greatly improved program stability. It also contains fixes to many bugs which used to make the application crash unexpectedly. The PDF checking process has been further improved so that PAC can support you even better in creating accessible documents.
