The thunder application is a screen reader. It is specialized in many languages including: English, German, French, Italian, Slovakian and Estonian. The objective is to help blind people who want to participate in education through modern media such as eLearning. The user can control the windows operating system by hearing (text to speech), since the program detects the computer's graphical interface and feeds the Text to Speech application. The user also controls Windows applications like Word, Excel, Outlook Express and Internet browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, internet explorer and specialized browser Webbie. It has built-in SAPI 4 and supports SAPI5.

Ρυθμίσεις: All the adjustments can be made by the Settings tag in the small window's program. You can change the voice in SAPI4 or SAPI5. For additional languages it supports speech synthesizer espeak (if installed separately). You can change the speed and intensity of voice as well as the speaking of letters or words. You can control the computer mouse with the buttons on the keyboard (numeric arrows).
