The NVDA detects all forms of text (visible or hidden) in the graphical user interface (icons, buttons, menu, dialog boxes, lists, message boxes) of a computer and sends it to the system Text to Speech, so that user can perceive in audio the GI (graphical interface) of the computer desktop and can be navigated with audio assistance to it and hear the text. Available with built-in speech synthesizer eSpeak, it supports many languages. It supports SAPI4 and SAPI5 and espeak. The main applications supported are: Outlook Express, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Word, Excel, Calculator. It allows operation from USB port.

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης: Download and install the file nvda_2014.3.1.exe.
Ρυθμίσεις: All settings are available from the Preferences in application menu (that appears by right-clicking the program icon in the Notification Area). Users can: (a) choose a Synthesizer, (b) set up synthesizer's voice parameters such as language, speech rate, pitch and volume by choosing Voice Settings and (c) set up mouse operation mode by clicking on Mouse Settings.
